HD400 Series Shark FlexStyle™ Air Styling & Drying System - Filter Maintenance Instructions

For consistent performance, you must regularly clean the filter in your Shark FlexStyle.

Always make sure that your FlexStyle is turned off and unplugged before performing any cleaning or maintenance.                

1. To access the filter, gently pull off the filter cover on the bottom of the hair dryer.

2. Use a dry cloth or a clean toothbrush to gently brush off all dust and debris from the mesh filter. Brush in a downward motion in the direction of the power cord. Use an alcohol cleaning wipe to remove any stuck-on debris.

3. When the filter is clean, brush dust and debris off the filter cover, then slide the cover back onto the bottom of the hair dryer until it clicks into place. Turn on the unit and allow it to run for a minute or two.  

Your Shark FlexStyle is now ready to start styling again.
