What is the irradience per cm2 ?

Unlike other LED masks that may use single-wick or bi-wick LED sources, our mask uses tri-wick LEDs and is engineered for enhanced light effectiveness so that every wavelength is emitted from every LED. The design maximizes skin radiance, ensuring even coverage across the entire face with a maximum irradiance of 128mW/cm² from the combined wavelengths. This is a measurement of power density of the light at the source of the LED.

How can you prove that Shark CryoGlow is effective?

The Shark CryoGlow mask uses 3 different LED wavelengths: Blue, Red, and Infrared. Depending on wavelength, the light penetrates into different layers of the skin. Blue LEDs help kill acne-causing bacteria to treat breakouts while Red & Infrared LEDs penetrate deep into the skin, increasing collagen production and helping improve fine lines and firm skin. Our results are proven in 4 weeks*1 : When using our Better Aging mode, users saw an improvement in fine lines and reduction in wrinkles in 4 weeks.2 When using our Skin Clearing mode, users more even skin and an improvement in the appearance of pores in 4 weeks.3 1Results from 4-week study with 119 subjects and 1x/day use of pre-programmed 6-8minute routine. Tips for a better mask fit

1. Adjust the Back Strap Start by adjusting the back strap, which features buckles on both sides. To tighten the strap, slide the buckles closer together. To loosen, slide them apart. The back strap may cover the top of your ears. Adjust it until it feels comfortable, ensuring the mask sits securely but not too tight. 💡Check Mask Positioning with a Mirror 2. Adjust the Top Strap To adjust the mask's position on your face, tighten or loosen the self-fastening strap on top of your head. Ensure the strap is centered on your head (following the center part of your hair, if applicable). The mask should sit comfortably without causing discomfort to the top of your head. 3. Check for Tightness or Discomfort Ensure the mask is not too tight or loose, as this could cause discomfort or ineffective use. If any pressure points arise, adjust the straps to find a more comfortable fit. 4. Adjust Chill Pad Fit (Optional) The chill pads should sit under your eyes, resting comfortably on your cheekbones. If the chill pads don’t have consistent contact with your under-eye area, you can add the optional clip-on chill pads for improved fit and comfort. To use the clip-on chill pads, remove the mask and take the chill pads out of the box. They are marked with ‘L’ (left) and ‘R’ (right) — make sure the letters face toward the mask’s chin. Align the optional clip-on chill pads with the built-in chill pads and snap them into place. You'll hear a click when they are securely attached. 💡LED Considerations The LEDs work most effectively when they are not in direct contact with your skin. This is why the mask sits slightly away from your face to allow the light to penetrate and work optimally.
