Best for straight, wavy, curly, or coily hair.
What are the recommended settings?
The recommended settings for Shark Glossi (TM) are the below: Wet Mode: High Flow High Heat for fast drying. Dry Mode: Low Flow High Heat for frizz reduction and shine. For a quieter experience and to minimize frizz, decrease flow to a lower speed. Adjust as needed.
How do I prevent frizz when using the brush?
If you find that you get frizz when using the brush, ensure your hair is passing through the heated ceramic plates. If you still get some frizz, decrease airflow. Work in small sections that are no wider than the width of the brush to ensure hair stays on the brush and is styled. Try using hair products made for your hair type that add hydration and help to reduce frizz before and after styling.
How can I create even more volume?
Detangle hair with brush or wide tooth comb. For maximum volume, style hair on damp hair using Wet Mode. Flip hair upside down and use the bristle side to brush downward through hair. Flip hair back to normal and position and section hair. Smaller sections enable easier root access. Position the bristle side of the brush under a small section of hair as close to the roots as possible. Slowly rotate the brush outward to engage the bristles and grip the hair. Brush the hair up and away from head while using the Styler Tip to style with more control. To reduce frizz, rotate mids to ends of hair through the ceramic plates. Try using hair products made for your hair type that help to add volume before and after styling.
Do you have any tips for fine hair?
Try reducing the airflow to help reduce frizz and improve smoothing. This will also help you to have better control over your styling. Use hair products made for your hair type that help to reduce frizz before and after styling. Avoid using heavy creams, oils, or serums that can weigh down hair.
Do you have any tips for thick hair?
Work in small sections and always ensure hair is detangled before use. Increase the heat and airflow to speed up your drying and styling.
Do you have any tips for curly or coily hair?
Always ensure hair is detangled before use. Work in small sections to allow easier access to the roots. Start with Wet Mode on damp hair to pre-stretch and dry your hair. Finish with Dry Mode to add shape, shine, and smoothness to complete your styling experience. Ensure you are rotating the brush to grip the hair with the bristles to build tension and stretch and smooth the hair. Increase the heat and airflow to speed up your drying and styling. Use hair products that help to straighten or stretch your hair before styling.
Do you have any tips for long hair?
Work in small sections to have better control during styling. This can also help minimize frizz and improve smoothing. If you have longer hair and struggle to achieve tension around the brush, wrap excess hair around the barrel when working in small sections.
Do you have any tips for short hair?
Try reducing the airflow to help minimize frizz and improve smoothing. This will also help you to have better control over your styling.
