Your robot vacuum is smart—but it gets even smarter with the SharkClean® app. From setup to scheduling, voice control to custom cleaning zones, this guide walks you through everything you need to know to unlock the full power of your robot. Whether you're syncing with Alexa, setting up Do Not Disturb, or checking your cleaning history, it all starts with a tap.
📲 Downloading the SharkClean® App
For Apple Devices:
- Open the App Store.
- Search for “SharkClean®”.
- Tap the app, then tap Install.
For Android Devices:
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Search for “SharkClean®”.
- Tap the app, then tap Install.
🔄 Keeping the App Updated
To ensure you’re using the latest features and performance improvements:
- Periodically search for “SharkClean®” in your app store.
- If an update is available, tap Update.
🗣️ Connecting to Voice Assistants
Amazon Alexa:
- Open the Alexa app or visit the Alexa Skills Store.
- Search for “Shark Skill”.
- Tap Enable Skill and follow the prompts to link your SharkClean® account.
Voice Commands:
- “Alexa, tell Shark to start cleaning.”
- “Alexa, tell Shark to pause my robot.”
- “Alexa, tell Shark to send my robot to the base.”
- “Alexa, tell Shark to find my robot.”
Google Assistant:
On Apple Devices:
- Download and open the Google Assistant app.
- Tap the Explore icon.
- Search for “Shark” and select Try it.
- Sign in and authorize your SharkClean® account.
On Android Devices:
- Open the Google Assistant app.
- Tap the Explore icon.
- Search for “Shark” and select Link.
- Sign in to your SharkClean® account.
Voice Commands:
- “OK Google, tell Shark to start cleaning.”
- “OK Google, tell Shark to pause my robot.”
- “OK Google, tell Shark to send my robot to the base.”
- “OK Google, tell Shark to find my robot.”
📱 Using the App Features
Control from Multiple Devices:
- Log in to the SharkClean® app on each device using the same credentials.
Initiate Vacuum + Mop Cleaning:
- Ensure your robot has mapped your home.
- Tap Vacuum + Mop on the control screen.
Recharge & Resume:
- Automatically enabled by default.
- Robot returns to base when battery is low, recharges, and resumes cleaning.
Evacuate & Resume:
- Enabled in your robot’s Settings.
- Robot returns to base to empty its bin, then resumes cleaning.
🗺️ Mapping, Scheduling & Zones
Clean Specific Rooms:
- After mapping, go to the Rooms tab.
- Select rooms and tap CLEAN.
Schedule a Cleaning:
- Tap Schedule in the top-left corner.
- Choose days, times, and cleaning modes.
View Cleaning History:
- Tap History in the menu.
- View cleaning coverage and Dirt Detect activity from the past 30 days.
Add Rooms or No-Go Zones:
- Go to Map > Edit Map.
- Use Merge, Split, and Label tools.
- Add no-go zones by placing polygons on the map.
🔧 Settings & Troubleshooting
Do Not Disturb Mode:
- Enable or disable in the Settings tab.
Notifications:
- Manage push notifications in Settings.
Change Pad Dry Time:
- Go to Settings > Your Robot > Pad Dry Duration.

- Try rebooting your phone, router, and robot.
