Mapping Accuracy
- Run an Explore Run to generate a map
- If you move furniture or the base, delete the map and re-map your home
- Open all interior doors during mapping for full coverage
🚫 Avoiding Trouble Spots
- Use the SharkClean® app to create no-go zones (minimum size: 3 ft x 3 ft)
- Avoid placing no-go zones in front of the base
🧼 Sensor Maintenance
- Clean cliff sensors, wall follow sensors, and 3D sensors with a dry cloth or cotton swab
- Dirty sensors can cause missed areas or navigation errors
🧱 Thresholds & Rugs
- The robot can climb over most thresholds up to 1 inch
- For higher thresholds, set up a no-go zone
- Keep rugs 8 inches away from stairs to ensure cliff sensors work properly
