🔄 Basic Troubleshooting Steps
- Restart your phone
- Turn off your phone, wait a few minutes, then turn it back on and reconnect to Wi-Fi
- Reboot your robot
- Remove it from the base and press and hold the DOCK button for 5–7 seconds to turn off power
- Slide it back onto the base to turn it back on
- Reboot your router
- Unplug the router for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Wait a few minutes for it to fully restart
- Pro tip: Delete your robot from the App if the robot was previously connected
📱 App Setup Tips
- Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz network (Shark robots do not support 5 GHz)
- Do not use VPNs or proxy servers
- Make sure Wi-Fi isolation is turned off on your router
- If using iOS 14 or later, enable Local Network Access in your phone’s privacy settings
🔁 If Connectivity Drops During Cleaning
- This can happen when the robot moves far from the router or under furniture
- The robot will automatically reconnect when back in range
- If it doesn’t:
- Turn off the robot and wait 10 seconds
- Turn it back on and place it on the base
