From filters to water tanks and everything in between, this guide walks you through the essential steps to keep your base clean, efficient, and ready to support your robot’s every move. Because a little maintenance goes a long way, even when it’s “never touch.”
🧃 Cleaning the Pre-Motor Filters
Frequency: Clean every 2 months; replace every 6–12 months
- Lift the foam filter out of the base.
- Remove the felt filter beneath it.
- Rinse both filters with water only, no soap or detergent.
- Let the filters air-dry completely before reinstalling.
Note: Do not wash filters in a washing machine.
🌀 Cleaning the Post-Motor Filter
Frequency: Clean every 2 months; replace every 6–12 months
- Press the button at the top of the filter door.
- Tilt and lift off the door.
- Pull down the tab to remove the post-motor filter.
- Tap the filter gently over a trash can to remove dust.
- Reinsert the filter and close the door.
Important: Do not use water or soap on this filter.
🗑️ Emptying the Base Dust Bin

Press the release button and slide the dust bin out to the side.

Hold the bin over a trash can.

Press the bottom release button (with the trash icon) to open the lid.

Tap the bin lightly to dislodge remaining debris.

Slide the bin back into the base until it clicks into place.
🧽 Cleaning the Pad Plate Tray
Frequency: As needed

Remove the ramp and pad plate from the base.

Wipe the tray with a damp microfiber cloth.

Allow the tray to dry completely before reinstalling the ramp and robot.
Note: Do not remove the pad plate directly from the dock. Instead, slide the robot up the ramp, start a wet clean, pause it, and then remove the tray.
Cleaning the Base Ramp
Frequency: Every 3 months or as needed

Carefully lift the ramp up and away from the base.

Wipe it down with a damp microfiber cloth.

Let it air-dry completely.

Reinstall by aligning and pressing down until it clicks into place.
💧 Maintaining the Base Water Tanks
Clean Water Tank:
Frequency: Before every refill or once every 30 days

Wash with warm water and soap, rinse thoroughly, and air-dry completely.
Gray Water Tank:
Frequency: Once every 30 days or as needed

Open the lid and pour out dirty water.

Fill with clean water, close the lid, lock it, and shake.

Important: Always use room-temperature water. Never move the base while the water tank is full.
