Prepare Your Home
Before each cleaning mission:

Open interior doors to all rooms you want cleaned.

Remove small objects under 4.5" tall (e.g., socks, toys, cables).

Ensure rugs are at least 8" from stairs to help cliff sensors function properly.

Avoid placing the base in direct sunlight or near heating elements.
Set Up No-Go Zones
In the SharkClean® app:

Create no-go zones to block off tight spaces, thresholds, or sensitive areas.

For best accuracy, zones should be at least 3 ft x 3 ft.

Do not place no-go zones in front of the base, as this may interfere with docking.
Mapping Tips

Your robot will perform an Explore Run to generate a map.

If you move furniture or the base, delete the map and run a new Explore Run.

The robot can detect carpets during mapping and avoid them during mopping.
Avoid Getting Stuck

Use no-go zones to block off tight spaces, rug corners, or high thresholds.

If your robot misses areas, clean the sensors and ensure clear paths.
Spot Clean Function

In the app, drag the spot target to the desired area.
-
You can add up to 3 spots per mission.
-
Without the app, press and hold the DRY or WET button for 5 seconds to start a spot clean.
